Sophie looks like violent dirty play before kind of fight, but you watch in slow motion, offensive player lowered shoulder and went a foot or 2 sideways to ram her exactly when she is trying to tie her up, so off balance and timing screwed up, so might have been any kind of call. Refs and announcers supposed to be professionals. No question flagrant foul without being rammed shoulder down, but with this, I simply have no idea what call should be. Seems like in nba would be reviewed in slow motion endless times because legit hard to call, then in nba they would bring in retired ref to explain call, because the shoulder down being rammed complicates it endlessly

I feel that Jacy Sheldon drove her shoulder into Sophie Cunningham's chest. That to me was a foul that nobody is talking about. Sophie reacted to this attack in a normal way. Jacy was the instigator all night long and she was punished the least. Would like your comment about this.

Why have refs if they're not going to do their jobs? And, frankly, as Sophie moved to block JC JC ducked her shoulder to slam into her. Sophie's arms went around JC because JC charged into her looking to draw a flagrant on Sophie. Get the dirty street ball players out of the league. Admittedly, there'd be only four teams, but I'd be okay with that.

Why hasn’t anybody noticed that the sun guard put her shoulder down and pushed into Sophie? I am an ex ref and that is an offensive foul, but nobody’s got the guts to call it. I would’ve called it offensive and given the ball to Indiana that was a dirty play on the Sun guard by the Sun guard.

Not only did Maybrey blindside CC and knock her to the floor, she did it while CC was hurt. No less than 3 Sun players tried to get in CC's face as she was holding her hands over her injured eye and doubled over in pain. The WNBA is a circus, and the refs are clowns.

Absolute highest respect and Admiration for Sophie. I love watching Sophie and Caitlin play together, their genuine friendship is so endearing. The WNBA refs are completely corrupt, and Englbert is just scum. Much respect and admiration for Sophie from Australia.

Well this lady is talking about the officials and players in the WNBA is taking up on too much of myself with her comments and her beliefs and what she believed in what she think and what her opinion is doesn't mean nothing she's saying all the wrong things by pointing to the referees have been at fault for the sport of basketball in the way that is a played because they are not officially in it officiated the way that it pleases her and some other people she needs to get off of that track because those officials do that as far as they can they don't care what team wins or loses they just try to officiate the game they have no problems personal interests against one player to the next like this lady is trying to imply and insinuate and that's what makes this person's viewpoint bad and dangerous and provoking a negative all the way around she in the Indiana fevers coach need to stop complaining and talking about and criticizing those referees I'll tell you that much because the Indiana fever coach may not get a close call the rest of this year for talking about and criticizing the referees like she did implying that they are incompetenthow is she going to ever get another close call from the officials criticizing them like that and wrongfully so, because the men pro basketball in the NBA play like that all the time and have been playing running into each other hard files knocking each other down for years, Barbie and Ken is to try to soften the game of basketball so that the WNBA who already don't play no defense is the internet to try and reduce the amount of defense that is allowed to play in the game already insurance please complaints is an intent to give certain players the right to play without anybody being allowed to play defense on them and heaven forbid if you play tight defense on them or pressure defense on them like basketball in the NBA and pro basketball these people like this lady that is complaining in others they don't want no defense played in the WNBA play the game without any kind of defense on them, which is a lot of crap

Did the coach for the Suns call for this dirty playing. He is not mentioned antwhere. He is at fault as much as the Refs for allowing his team to play this dirty.

People are like MAYHEM!! CHAOS!! BRAWL!! I have to challenge that A bit. I feel like Sophie has some fight training or other beyond her taekwondo cuz if you really watch, she was completely under control. Check the high angles... From that nice momentum takedown, she then readies herself, pushes #15 away while pulling #4 close in AT THE SAME TIME with that collar tie... holds #4 in tight to be sure what she had to say was heard over all the chaos - while moving around with good balance - then gives that little face shove as she walks away! Nothing chaotic for her, Sophie was under complete control and knew exactly where she the whole time. badass.

Team CC/SC they can ball with out playing dirty, I LOVE watching they play, made let me tell you’re I don’t watch any woman BB. But ever since CC started I have been watching here and there. And not that SC is ok I love watching them how they handle the ball how they shoot the ball they’re so good to watch. But watching CC always getting be at up and foul and no car is being called just pisses me off. I’m so glad that SC will always have her teammates back! But since everyone that played dirty, they can do the same too. But for some reason, they always gets called out Ann not the other team. Referee acted like they are blind when the foul is made ok them. The reason to get out of hand, because the referee is not doing their job.!

NUmber 4 lowered her shoulder to try and knock Sophie back while she was backpedaling, and Sophie wasnt having it. To be totally real, dropping a shoulder and pushing off with a shoulder like that, to someone backpeddling, could also knock the defender down too. So DONT START NOTHING AND THERE WONT BE NOTHING. That number 4 is dirty

You know, I am looking at the WNBA standings and I must admit Atlanta has surprised me but mostly I thought the Sparks would be better. Brink can't come back soon enough, their defense is pretty bad and her shot blocking and size would be a "big" help to LA. Anyway, with one lap down in the mile race of the WNBA season maybe you could do a show on which teams have been on par with predictions and which teams have lagged or exceeded.

I feel that Jacy Sheldon drove her shoulder into Sophie Cunningham's chest. That to me was a foul that nobody is talking about. Sophie reacted to this attack in a normal way. Jacy was the instigator all night long and she was punished the least. Would like your comment about this.

Not only did Maybrey blindside CC and knock her to the floor, she did it while CC was hurt. No less than 3 Sun players tried to get in CC's face as she was holding her hands over her injured eye and doubled over in pain. The WNBA is a circus, and the refs are clowns.

You are exactly right, these wnba refs are gonna get players hurt unless they start taking control of this chaos on the court. Sofie's foul was just a good old fashioned hard you will have to earn those points at the free throw line foul. Nothing wrong about it.
