So glad I decided NOT to sell my TR6 a few months ago when I was considering it because if I had I would be crying now watching this video. I have owned my 1975 model for 32 years now. Just don't wait any longer James - buy one NOW and stop overthinking the issue.

I remember getting a ride in a red TR six when I was a teenager. I thought it was the coolest car ever a few years ago I was on my way to buy one and was walking down the street to go look at it and came across a Mercedes slk55 AMG parked on the side of the road Which turned out to be for sale and the guy was asking less money. I took it for a test drive and I’ll thoughts of buying a TR six disappeared although I still think it’s a very cool car !

I had a thing for the triumph Vetesse V8. That was until a good friend of mine killed himself in a crash. No one else was involved. He just run out of talent on a country lane. 😢

The z cars were and are cool. I dont think that the 5 speed came out until the 280. I could be wrong. I married into an early 260 that her mom had bought brand new, and i transplanted the 5 speed into it.

When I first started to drive, the TR6 was a little bit of money, Spitfires were a little bit less, Vitesse's were even less and the Herald was a give away. I recently looked at the motor section of an Exchange and Mart from 1980 and what you could buy for £300 or £400 is just a dream. If I could do it again I would buy so differently.
